Safe Haven Recovery Care is a private, concierge post-operative recovery service, founded and run by Kendra Neill, BSN, RN, focused on supporting clients undergoing plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures. Care is offered locally in Austin, throughout Texas, and nationwide, with services provided by traveling directly to clients wherever their surgery and recovery are taking place.

Safe Haven was created to bridge the gap between surgical discharge and truly supported recovery. With nearly a decade of nursing experience and over five years working specifically in plastic surgery and aesthetics, Kendra brings a calm, informed, and deeply attentive presence to every stage of healing.

At its core, Safe Haven functions much like a doula for plastic surgery recovery.

While your surgeon focuses on the procedure itself, Safe Haven focuses on everything that follows—education, reassurance, organization, and steady support during one of the most physically and emotionally vulnerable periods of healing.

Care will include reinforcing your surgeon’s post-operative instructions, including but not limited to medication administration and organization, emptying drains and recording output, monitoring incisions, assisting with dressing changes, showering and getting dressed, taking vital signs, performing wound care, gentle ambulation and mobility, and ongoing emotional reassurance as your body heals and adjusts.

Safe Haven does not replace your surgeon or act as a medical decision-maker. Instead, care is intentionally collaborative—supporting your recovery plan, communicating concerns to your surgeon’s office when appropriate, and helping you feel confident, informed, and cared for between follow-up appointments.
